Do not check the weather forecast in Vail, Avon, or Edwards. Please follow the link below to view an accurate forecast for the stretch of the river that we float:

Refunds are only given AT THE RIVER. If weather is not favorable or safe to float in then refunds will be given as deemed appropriate.

The float is 2 to 2 1/2 hours in July and 3 to 3 1/2 hours in August. Distance will be determined based on river flow and wind conditions.

Keep in mind that Turtle Tubing is a timed activity which means we reserve the right to end tubing trips due to adverse weather conditions. Refunds requested on the day of a scheduled tubing trip will ONLY be given at the river meet-up spot in Dotsero and ONLY if the reason is adverse weather conditions. We are not responsible for I-70 construction or traffic or last minute issues that happen on the day a trip has been planned.

All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
